Femme Monumentale, Femme Végétale

An extensive project dedicated to the representation and archetypes of women, questioning what it means to be a woman today. Femme Monumentale, Femme Végétale took place in BraÅŸov and consisted of three urban mountain performances and dance, sound and poetry workshops for women and teenagers, for both professional artists and the general public.

This project was carried out by Developing Art, initiated by Madira in partnership with I Dance You and funded by Brasov City Hall.

Femme expérimentale

This project was dedicated to the female artists and audience passionate about danceTimisoara, and took place between November and December 2022. It comes in the continuation of the projectFemme Monumentale, Femme Végétale, dedicated to female representation and archetypes, questioning what it means to be a woman today.

This project was carried out by Developing Art, initiated by Madira in partnership with I Dance You, implemented with local support Unfold Motion and Concentric Projects,  and co-financed by TimiÈ™oara municipality through TimiÈ™oara Project Center.

EVENTS 

Performance - Work, energy and emotions enter a bar, by Irina Marinescu

deals with the subject of burnout through the lens of work experiences. It was presented on November 26 at the Basque Theatre

5 workshops - intensive transdisciplinary laboratory dedicated to local artists

6 workshops of contemporary dance, live poetry and painting in motion

MADIRA- the home of mothers who have assumed the role of creators outside the domestic space as well - is a safe framework for support, movement and professional incubation of (single) independent artist mothers through residencies to take space in Schei, Brașov.
